| Discipleship! |
There are several different options for our Discipleship times for an
individual at the church throughout the week & month!
We believe that the last thing that someone would say to you before they
left is always the most important. Right before Jesus left to go back to
Heaven He gave the church their marching orders! He shared with them
the most important task for them to be doing until He returns. It is the task
of discipleship!
In Matthew 28:18-20, which is known as the "Great Commission" for the
church, we see our task for discipleship. Jesus said, "All authority has
been given to Me in heaven and earth. God therefore and make disciples of
all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of
the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded
you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
The church has a task to go and to make disciples and we believe that this
encompasses three tasks.
First it is to help those who do not know Jesus Christ to be able to come to
know Him in a personal and eternal way! If you do not know Him in a
personal way click on our HEAVEN link to the left to make sure. To be a
disciple of Jesus, someone must first confess Him as their Savior.
The second task of discipleship is for a believer to be identified with Jesus
Christ by following Him in believers Baptism.
Then the last task of discipleship is for us to be taught, "...to observe all
things that I (Jesus) have commanded..."
Discipleship encompasses all three tasks. You can not have discipleship
without one and they can not be in a different order.
Discipleship is a process of growth and a visible sign of a healthy church no
matter what size it may be at a given season in it's development!

Wednesday Night Discipleship: Every Wednesday night from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM, all ages can come
together to be discipled to observe all that Jesus has commanded us and grow in His Word.
Sunday Night Discipleship: If an adult can not make the Wednesday Night Discipleship, we meet
again with other adults on Sunday night from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM studying the very same lesson that
was taught on Wednesday Night. We meet at different locations so call the church for directions.
For those who want to go deeper in your discipleship time and in your walk with the Lord and with His
Word there are also two more options available at the church:
Discipleship Training: This is a 12 session in depth study at your own pace with a follow up meeting
at the end of each session with your individual discipleship coach. You will study many different
things about Jesus and His Life as you study intensively the "words in red"! You will also learn your
purpose in life and spiritual gift from the Lord! If you are interested in this, please see Pastor Jay.
LTG (Life Transformation Group): This is a weekly partnering with another person for Bible reading,
prayer, and accountability! There is no set agenda, no particular set order of what books of the Bible
to study, no particular layout of your day and time together. It is just a time for two people to get
together once a week to lift each other up, to encourage one another, and to hold each other
accountable in your walk with the Lord. If you are interested in this see Pastor Jay.
We would like to personally invite you to come and to grow with us in our Discipleship of Jesus!
