| The Vision of Harvest Oaks |
We have a pretty simple vision here! We simply want to make ourselves
available to God to be used by Him to make disciples or followers of Jesus
Christ and to love others through serving!
We believe Jesus taught us our purpose while He was still remaining here
on the earth before going back to Heaven.
As individuals, we are told to Love Him with all of our heart, mind, soul, and
strength. We are also told to do the same for others as well as ourselves!
Therefore we chose to show our love for Him, for others, and for ourselves,
through being obedient to serve Him, others, and ourself!
We also believe that God has called us to plant a church that is faithful to
the three purposes of this church.
He has called us to be faithful to the purpose of Fellowship with other
believers, to our Worship of God in Spirit and in Truth, and to the purpose of
Discipleship which is helping those who do not know Jesus to be able to
know Him and for those who do know Him to follow Him deeper!
All 3 of which are infused with Bible Study and Prayer here at Harvest Oaks!
As you can see from the Divine Design of Harvest Oaks below we have
incorporated these three purposes into our vision and flow of the church!
We are also in the process of purchasing 4 acres in the heart of Allen, TX.
The design of our facilities complement our purpose in that it will be a
campus style design with three buildings one for each purpose.
A Fellowship building, a Worship building, and a Discipleship building. For
