1. Birthdate and Place:
I was born in June in San Antonio, Texas!
2. Family Information:
Wife (Ashlee), Son (Jeremy), and Son (Jacob).
3. Where did you grow up?
After being born in San Antonio soon thereafter we moved to Garland, TX. From
there we moved to Parker (a farming community outside of Allen) where my parents
still live today.
4. What is your "Salvation" testimony?
When I was around 12 or so I had gotten in trouble and prayed that night if God
would help me to get out of trouble I would be "baptised". Sure enough He got me
out of trouble and Sunday came around and I had to "anny up"! When I went down
the isle, I told the pastor that I had already prayed to God. Then that summer I got
"dunked" in Lake Lavon thinking I was being baptized. In college, my roommate
and others helped me to see that I may have believed in my heart but Ihad not yet
confessed with my mouth Jesus as my Lord and Savior and knelt beside my bed
and made sure that I had truly confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior!
5. What is your "Call to the Ministry" testimony?
God used my senior year of college while working as a Sports intern at Channel 7
KATV, an ABC affiliate TV station in Little Rock, AR to help me see I had a higher
calling in life. During that summer, I had been used by God to help one of the on
air personalities through a very difficult situation. It was at the end of that summer,
when I went back to college that my desire was no longer in the field of TV
communications, but rather in the field of communicating the Grace of God to a
hurting world! God had redirected this journey of life that I was on!
6. What is your Education History?
I Graduated from Plano East Senior High and University of Arkansas at Monticello
with a BA in Communications (Major in Speech, Minor in General Business).
